    Hi,

the inside of my tyre has a small cut, big enough to make the tyre bulge out when inflated........it seems like I won't be able to find a similar cyclo cross tyre to replace this on time for next week race, so I need to patch it in the best way possible...........any good tips out there?

....or else if you know where to buy a 700x28 cyclo cross tyre in Dublin (I have looked everywhere).....

What race is on next week?

I have a vague memory of seeing CX tyres in the Cycle Superstore last time I was in.

Duck tape the inside of the tyre works.

Agree with Caroline.ie, duct tape or heavy duty re-inforced gaffer tape works well if the cut is small, if you can first try putting a couple of stiches into the cut to stop it spreading and then tape it up. Sure this will get you through the day but give cyclesuperstore a shout on +353 1 463 2270

i find if you can get a big enough inner tube repair patch use that and then gaffa tape it stays pretty solid, you might want to try stagg cycles in lucan they might have a tyre handy
