    New York Yankees (Sabathia) -1.5 runs @ 5/6 Friday 14th August 2009, 03:10

    It's Sabathia (12-7, 3.76ERA) versus Mariners' Snell (2-8, 5.42ERA). The way the Yankees have been grinding lately I think those numbers make the handicap virtually irrelevant.

    I'm putting it in a double with the Phillies over 5 innings (Cliff Lee 9-9, 2.95) @ 5/7 (I'm guessing it'll be about the same price as the outright win but PP don't have a price yet)

    €10 returns €31-odd.

    Anyone get on this? Both easy easy wins, Yankees 11-1 and Phillies 6-1 (leading 4-1 after 5). :D

    As per the title smart or not so smart;

    Tempted by High Born at Tramore today, only reason is a mate of a mate said he should do well at Cork a couple of weeks ago, so threw a few quid on him at 16-1 and he won easily enough. Think he was backed into 10's.

    Same mate says Totoman has his chances today at Tramore too.

    I'm thinking of putting €100 on Chelsea ht/ft @1.62 with betfair. Would that be wise?
