Hey lads just looking for some of ye'r opinions,
Recently ive been playing a few clubs light.... due to numerous reasons, wedges stolen from my bag, shaft bent in my 5iron so all i have at the moment is 2,4,6,7,8,9,54* wedge, 5 wood, and driver, 3wood sometimes and the putter!!!

My irons are pretty old their the ping eye2 set, got them left to me!!! so i wont be trading them in or selling on as they have sentimental value also,

My question is... should i splash out and buy a new set anyway as have been toying with the idea anyway or just get the 5iron fixed and buy some new wedges???

I'm playing off 8 and am a fairly good and confident ball striker!!!
Thanks for ye'r time and sorry for the length of the post, all advice welcome!!!!!

Playing off 8 you seem to be working well with the clubs you have so it may be better to get the 5 iron fixed. But if it were me I would go for the new set, as you said you a good ball striker already so some new technology could really improve your scores.

    Best of Luck

I have same set as you copper heads, many pro golfers think best clubs ever made
these are the same clubs Lee Westwood started using when he was about 15 yr old, when things got really bad with his game in the last couple of years he reverted back to using them for a while,
so maybe just go onto ebay and buy the 2 Ping eye's you are short,
