The wheel is just a lump of plastic, you don't need it to play but it does help I find :D

You can use the wiimote on its own, the wiimote + nunchuck or the classic controller whichever you want.

Are you kidding?! That is the worst possible way to play mario kart! Its not accurate enough. Stick to wiimote-nunchuck or classic controller or gamecube controller or even the wiimote itself.

wii wheel is probably less precise if your focusing on beating all the challenges on highest difficulty. If however, you're going to be playing with pals or online, I found wii wheel way more fun. Its easier for others to get into it with the wheel too. its more intuitive.

You bought the wii for different gaming experience yeah? So make use of that. If you wanted to play with analogue controls, you'd have bought another console.

WII wheel is just a gimmick - makes play much more difficult (unless you have super human ability to hold the wheel steady in the air in front of you).

Stick with Wii controller and nun-chuck.

Use the wheel, its a laugh and a half, or just use the wiimote. Why anyone would want to use the nun-chuck is beyond me.

I find that if your playing the game for a laugh with friends then the Wheel is the way to play.

However, it you are playing to win then the Wii remote and Nunchuk combination can't be beaten for control.

Well it is analogue instead of digital (d-pad)

Yeah but its the wii, the whole point of it is to wave things around the place like a lunatic. Guess if you're serious about high scores and stuff then maybe u need it.

The wii wheel is more fun but if you're playing to win use classic controller.

I used a Gamecube controller. The Wiimote and the Wheel just didn't work for me.
