    Hi

I'm running a ten mile run at the weekend for the first time.
What should I be eating in the days coming up to it?

    Cheers

Nothing different, only what you'd normally eat.

And what if he/she is eating absolute crap?

Maybe that needs to be ascertained first!

But even if they are eating crap a day before a race is not the time to change it... its what they are used to.

Was thinking that myself; it would be a case of too little too late.

Or worse, never change diet before a race regardless of how good/bad it is. you don't know the effects it may have on your fuelling, your hydration or your "insides".
