hassle with e-bay seller

    bought a product from seller on e- bay.didnt use for few weeks and it turned out to be faulty.went outside the 45 day with paypal.couldnt get refund through them. cant contact seller through e-bay,direct e-mail or by the contact number registerd with e-bay.paid 107 euros .feedback on seller was 98 percent so i thought it would be okay.never any probs before.seller is in england.any ideas out?there.even e-mailed the manufacturer of the product.all apologies but they said warranty lies within e-bay.

    Presuming that you used Paypal there is no issue. I had a problem like this before and eBay were useless,however,paypal just took the money back out of his account until the issue was solved. Don't email them,it's better to ring....alot easier!

    have been on to paypal three times.they cant to anything because you have to request refund within 45 days they said and i was outside that.they e-mailed me a claim form and wouldnt open a case outside of 45 days.did contact them by phone

    You have almost no comeback with anything bought on eBay, and you really should have checked it out after it arrived. Negative feedback is one thing you can do, and it might make the seller contact you.

    If you funded the payment with a credit card, you could ring the bank and ask about a charge back. This doesn't always work though.
