Deisebeh, no idea where you are based, but the Deise in your name would indicate Waterford. In which case there is one every Thursday night run by the local tri club which caters for all levels. Not sure when the series ends but there is one tonight (choice of a 10 mile or 18 mile course). Starts around 6:30 out at the Couse Bridge Roundabout (old Tramore road) on or near the new link road.

Don't worry if you aren't too prepared for your first one:
Obree was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, but has lived almost all his life in Scotland and considers himself Scottish. An individual time triallist, his first race was a 10-mile time trial to which he turned up wearing shorts, anorak and Doc Marten boots.[2] He thought the start and finish were at the same place and stopped where he had started, 100 metres short of the end. He had started to change his clothes when officials told him to continue. He still finished in "about 30 minutes."[2]
