I have a problem with my Macbook that I bought about 10 months ago. I havent used it in 3 weeks cos I was away. Then today I turned it on with it plugged into the power supply. But it says "not charging" - I tried plugging it in and out and restarting it but this didnt help. The help part on it says that this means the power supply is not strong enough, so I tried it with a few different sockets but theres been no difference. Does anyone know what the problem is? I'm clueless about this stuff. Thanks

Sounds like a problem with the magsafe adapter. Is the light on? Check for any dirt/dust on the connector.

    Just an update on this:

I took the laptop to the Apple Store in Belfast yesterday. They looked at it and said that the battery had failed. As I have the thing only about 10 months, they replaced the battery free of charge. . . happy days!
