BMW 1 Series Convertible with 27296

    Can't remember the reg fully but seen this car(BMW 1 Series Convertible with 27296) twice and just wondering what the reg is all about? Spotted on the quays in Dublin and the Phoenix Park this evening.

    was it right hand drive?

    could be from Guernsey

    Did it look like an Irish car? ie RHD. And what colour where the plates and did it have the euro flag or similar font to standard Irish plates?

    Guernsey plates have one to six numbers, and can be white (or silver) on black or modern UK style (black on white front, black on yellow rear). Since they are abroad they should probably have a "GBG" sticker on the back, that's if it is a Guernsey reg.

    Didn't notice but was a grey plate from what I can remember....and yeh right hand drive.

    Spotted it again today in Castleknock...the reg is 72796. Didn't get any more info as I was driving by....anyway must be from Guernsey
