This Sunday 16th Aug, NL Hold'em tournament in aid of Midlands Simon Community

    1. Who is running the event (organisation, society etc.)
    Midlands Simon Community

    2. The purpose of the event (charity, commercial etc.)
    Charity

    3. Date and Location of event
    This Sunday, 16th August, Prince Of Wales Hotel, Athlone, Co. Westmeath

    4. Registration and Start time of event.
    Registration 5pm, Start 6pm.
    1000 chip early bird bonus for registrations before 5.30pm.
    Preregistration possible by phoning Ashley on 087 9246027 or emailing c.lally@midlandssimon.com

    5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc)
    No

    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.)
    Tickets at the door, maximum 100.

    7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.)
    NL Hold'em with Rebuys/Top-up

    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.
    20 Euro buyin, 20 Euro Rebuy, 20 Euro Top-Up

    9. Cost of registration
    5 Euro

    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund
    100% of buyin, and 100% of top-up, <100% of rebuys (1st rebuy goes to Charity)

    10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much
    No

    11. Any guarenteed prize pool.
    No

    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels.
    2 rebuys only for first 80 minutes, 1 Top-up allowed per player

    13. Starting Chips
    5000 with 1000 free chips for registration before 5.30pm

    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts.
    5000 rebuy, 6000 top-up

    15. Blind levels
    To be decided on the night depending on numbers.

    16. Blind timeframes
    20 minutes

    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash (free entry to other tournie, merchandice etc)
    At least top 3 paid, more depending on numbers

    18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill
    Professional Dealer on final table

    19. Will there be a documented list of rules
    Yes

    20. Is there a tournament director
    Professional Dealer will act as TD

    21. How are disputes handled - who has final say.
    Professional Dealer will handle disputes on all tables

    22. Are there any cash games offered, if so, please outline the rake for each limit offered.
    No

    Raffle and prizes on the night!!!

    Thanks Paddy, I'm not involved in organising it though, I just offered to
    post the details up here for the lad who is organising it because he's not on boards. Every little bit helps!

    I'll just be there losing my money as usual ;)
