Just wondering, and I know this is a dumb question, but would a wireless adaptor bought in America work here?

Yes. It just plugs into the USB connection on the back of the Xbox 360.

    Yup should work no problem.

I actually brought my Irish one over to America to use on an American Xbox so the reverse is true also.
