wysiwyg editor for eclipse

    Can anyone recommend a good GUI builder plugin for eclipse?

    Something that works with Swing and Awt. Its for students so nothing fancy-shmancy, just a basic drag and drop interface for building desktop apps will do.

    Finding good free ones is somewhat akin to finding hens teeth. Jigaloo about the only decent one I can think of is and is free for non commercial use.

    Have a look at Eclipse RCP, very powerful although might be a bit too much for what you are looking to do.
