    picked this up on politics.ie

Latest round of these events is next week.

    Taken from their website http://www.talktoeu.ie/en/Whats-On/

    8pm - Aug 17th - Bray Town Hall.

8pm - Aug 18th - Central Hotel, Exchequer Street - This one has an emphasis on the environment.

8pm - Aug 19th - Skylon Hotel, Drumcondra Road, Dublin.

The events take a town hall open floor approach, where people are free to ask questions on the EU, and get straight answers from representatives of the European Commission.

    Anybody reckon they'll go?

Went to last night's events in the Central Hotel, Dublin.
It was almost entirely based on environmental issues with representatives for NGOs, businesses, and the general public throwing questions at the EU. Environmental guru/celebrity Duncan Stewart was there too!

Was hoping for a bit more heated debate, but it was very civil and high level stuff. Can't say that was a bad thing though, and given the environmental emphasis, and the people who turned up, the event was expected to be high-brow.

Apparently Sinn Fein protested their event in Bray on Monday
