    Tell me what you think?:D

    Oh it replaces Bell.:pac:

Don't know how to change it?

    Download iFunBox

Plug phone into computer, fire up iFunBox then go:

    Raw File System

    system/library/audio/uisounds

Then just drag the file and drop (REMEMBER TO BACKUP THE ORIGINAL 1st).

Fair enough. I always used the classic Nokia sms alert on all my phones.

When I got the iPhone I installed TAlerts and fell in love with the sexy voice

informing me of new texts (yeah I is a sad geek).

I didn't like the girly intro to it though. So sitting here I was bored and

    decided to combine both.:D

    Hi MM

What are you using to create these.

Is there an app put there to create these things ??

Audacity 1.3. It can read .caf and export as .aiff. So you can either do stuff to an excisting .caf file like increase db and such or open an mp3 and save as aiff.

Once saved as aiff you can then just rename the file extension to .caf and you have a custom sms tone for the iPhone.:pac:

BTW if you are increasing the db with Audacity you need to go back as in minus on the little pop up for it. I don't know why, never read up on it but it works so I am happy. :D

    Hi

Juts wondering if all message tone go into this folder ?

    system/library/audio/uisounds

I have a couple of message sounds but they are tagged as MR4 ringtones and have them in the ringtones folder.

Have to say that iFunbox is excellent

    Thanks

Yes all sms tones must go in to system/library/audio/uisounds. Also sms tones must have the .caf otherwise they will not work.
