    HI,
What's the best app for reminders, notes, wish lists (e.g. books to read, bands to listen to) etc.
For some items I don't want to have to set a date, just have a list (preferably where I can cross out items as I want).
For others have a reminder, set date etc.
Maybe have the possibility to put in photos of items (but not essential).
I want to be able to view list of all reminders by day, week, month etc.

    Cheers,
    Pa.

tasks.google.com if you have constant internet access. Integrates nicely into gmail and calendar too.

    You'll be needing Evernote then.

There's also a very nice desktop client which syncs with the iphone (using web access), and it'll also store you're photos.

OK I just downloaded that app and was playing around with it when my iPhone crashed and now I can't get it to boot, it's stuck on the apple logo.

Got it to boot, but the icons for some apps are all messed up. Deleting and re downloading them doesn't fix em. :(

Does Evernote have reminder/alert feature or just notes?

Omnifocus is excellent and will do all the things you mention. However, it isn't cheap. Also it only really comes into its own if you also use the Mac version (which becomes even more expensive). That said, it is pretty awesome when you get the hang of it and use contexts to their full extent. The use of GPS on the iPhone is great so that you can see what things you need to do nearby etc. It also works with Mail so that you can import tasks directly from emails, or cut and paste directly from Safari, and it has growl support.

I use it everyday for both work and personal stuff so for me it was worth the 75ish euro. YMMV.

I never noticed a reminder option. Evernote never floated my boat anyway.

The whole idea syncing with the web and needing an account is unnecessary if you're just looking for a simple "task reminder" type app.

The Simple List app is feckin deadly for just making a list - shopping, things to do etc. No reminders or nothing. Just a list you can add to, delete or check items off.
