So I got my computer second hand well it was from someone my brother worked with but anyways I didn't get any of the original Windows Xp setup discs with it (I think) and now it wont boot. A screen just comes up saying Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
I am ripping my hair out on what to do I havn't a clue about computers tbh and if anyone knows how I can get my way outta this it would be great

    You'll need disks...

You could try downloading and installing Windows 7 RC1. It's free for the moment from the MS website.
