    Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to create a collage of 50 external images. The resulting image would have 50 200px X 200px thumbnails with a border around each image all lined up nicely, say 5 images in 10 rows.

    Thanks for any info

Can be done in Photoshop, but can be done in Adobe Bridge much easier. I'm not sure of the exact steps needed to do it but the end effect will display thumbnails of images.

Google thumbnails and bridge and see how you go.

It might be easier to do this in a page layout program like InDesign or Quark.

InDesign has a script (a little program like an action in photoshop) that can take all the images from a folder and align them in a grid with whatever spacing you like.

You simply apply a stroke to each frame and then File>Export to a format from the drop down menu.
