Flying to the US

Hi there. My other half can't provide her Advanced Passenger Information for her flight to the States at the end of the month on the aerlingus.com website - the error message says that "Booking reference is not entered correctly" or somesuch even though according to her login on aerlingus.com and the email she has from them it is the right booking reference.

For the sake of background I should add that she is an experienced traveller and this hasn't happened before.

Anyways, my question is this: Can you provide API at Dublin Airport when flying Stateside please? We rang the aerlingus.com "helpdesk" and they were as useful as a waterproof teabag. All useful answers greatly appreciated.

You can provide API at the Aer Lingus check-in desk by filling out a quick form. No problem. You won't find any mention of this on the website, as they prefer passengers to provide the info online to reduce delays at check-in.

Tell her to keep trying. This happened to us...kept saying input was wrong and then suddenly it accepted it. You can avoid check in desks at the airport by using the kiosks. Much quicker
