    Hello All,
Does any one know if anyone keeps bees in galway city or the outskirts. i see McCambridges sell honey combs but they kinda look fake. Just wondering where they get them from. It would be interesting to have a bee hive.

If you're intersted in bees, now is the time to join FIBKA

I have a mate in Moycullen who keeps bees, get some lovely natural honey off him every year. AFAIK there's a Galway branch of the Irish beekeeping association, good place to start for info. From what I've been told they're a friendly bunch only too willing to offer help in getting started...
