Switch to ACCA

I'm thinking of switching from ACA to ACCA. I need more flexibility and would prefer to split my exams between Dec and June.

I was wondering if anyone here has made the switch recently. I have passed most of my CAP1 exams, but will be resitting one in September. I was wondering if the ACCA will accept all and give me the relevant exemptions. If so, which exams will I be exempt from?

    Thanks in advance.

    You can start here. http://www.acca.co.uk/join/exemptions/

There's a exemption database that can tell you, or you can contact ACCA direct by phone or email - They will be very helpful

Cheers. Didn't realise they had that. It kind of bites. I'd only be entitled to 3 exemptions. They don't even give you law and you need both CAP1 and CAP2 Tax exams for the ACCA tax exemption.

Don't know the ACA structure, so can't really comment.

You may want to weigh up wether it would be better to continue on for a certain level with ACA and then switch to get more exemptions or maybe keep going with ACA :D
