Why is it that a thread can be closed without a valid excuse? In other forums, a Mod will have the last post in the thread explaining why he is closing it - i.e, what rules were broken, language used etc. It's not used here. If someone's opinion is disliked, the whole thread gets locked and that's not right.

Boards can only have a certain number of threads open at a time (hereafter known as 'Magic Number of Threads Number').
