Whats there to do here? And whats the general opinion on this resort?
Booked a week there with my bf at the start of September, but now been told its filthy and basically not a good place to go!!
Nervous as hell now so whats the concensus? Im prepared for a bit of noise, but hoped thatd be atmosphere rather than headwrecking...

    :)

If you have kids, make sure to get a babysitter

There's loads to do apart from the normal in PdI and you can have a great holiday despite the Kasbah and the "Irish Center"!

There is a really good go-karting circuit just outside San Agustin. Head up to Las Palmas and explore the town, you'll find some lovely places around there. Take a bus south to Mogan, it's a lovely little marina and a nice quiet beach too. Great place to spend a day. Hire a car, go inland to Roque Nueblo and explore the interior of the island, it's fascinating and you can see the orignal settlements of the Guancho, the indigineous people of the Canary Islands.

There's a shopping complex on the road to Las Palmas too with bowling and a cinema that shows films in English.

My favourite thing to do in PdI is to go to Cafe La Belle in the Yumbo center. They put on one of the best drag shows you'll see.

I've been a couple of times, it's not that bad.. There's a good few activities if that's what you're into.. there's Palmitos Park (wildlife park), the obligatory Aqua Park, scuba diving, parasailing, all your usual holiday resort stuff.. or there's the Nudey Beach if your feeling a bit saucy ;)

You'll be given a sh1t load of pamphlets in the airport with all the excursions outlined on it..

Don't mind the naysayers.. it's what you make of it.. And most importantly, it's not Ireland
