New series starting tonight at 8.00 on the History channell. Appearently an American soldier looks into the ancient warriors down the years, Samurai, Vikings, Zulus, Normans etc. Worth a watch.

Watched it, Samurai Vs Spartan Warrior. They had an ex-SF guy who had been trained in sword combat and a couple of martial arts experts. Something along the lines of Animal Vs Animal where they use models to approximate forces of weapons and then enter it into a computer for the fight to play out.

spartan won 65% of the time. The reason being was his shield. Great program!
