Anyone walking a marathon?

I'm walking the New York marathon on Nov 1st and hope to finish under 6hrs, even 5:59:59 and I'd be happy. I have walked the last two Dublin City Marathons but finished just over the 6hrs in both. This time I'm following a programme from a book by Dave McGovern and it is really great, full of practical info/advice as well as info on other walker-friendly marathons. It's an American publication. I'm enjoying the training especially as I am getting fitter. I retired during the year and an under 6hrs marathon would be a great personal achievement!
