I normaly go to Mick in Rathcormack but I tried to phone him today and his phone is not working. Anybody know if he is still open?

If not does anyone know where I can buy Harley parts around Sligo?

What parts are you after? For service parts Gordon Rowntree, Sligo Bike Center or McDaniels may be able to get what you need. If it's something more specific, you could try these places http://www.harley.ie/?gclid=CP7pjcfbm5wCFV8B4wodZyV3eQ

I've never had to replace rear pads on a bike. Only used them very occassionally. That's Harleys for you. Different kettle of fish to sportsbikes and roadsters.

Used to have suzuki's before the harley, and a buell. Never used rear brakes on that either. The brakes on a harley are so bad you need all you have. It took them over 100 years to put decent brakes on them (twin cam has proper brakes). When we moved to Ireland I had to choose which bike to keep and sold the wrong ones!!!

At least Harley's encourage you to slow down and just enjoy the ride. Too tempting to attack corners on other bikes. Brakes are poor on them though. If it wasn't for all the terrible, aggressive and totally inconsiderate drivers out there, a Harley would almost be safe. Almost;).

LOL indeed almost since they are very exiting to drive due to lack of road holding (is this correct?) and brakes.
