    Is the top income threshold just for your parents income or for you and your parents combined??

    You and your parents combined. If this puts over the threshold then you can make a deduction for "holiday earnings" from employment you've had outside of term time. e.g., if you worked last summer.

    If i was in college till may then worked full time for the rest of the year can i still do this?? Also i dont have pay slips from last summer so how would i know how much to deduct, or just deduct a certain amount??

    They'll allow up €3809. In my case, they told me to provide a letter from my employer containing a breakdown of what I earned in June, July, August of last year.
