I'm going to Santa Ponsa in a few weeks and i'm slightly concerned about the bombings but not overly-worried. I mean, what business would a terrorist group have attacking Irish/English tourists anyway? I think that they are only interested in attacking institutions of authority in the country i.e. royal family members, police etc. Just enjoy yourself and hope you're not in the wrong place at the wrong time!

You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. Security is probably very tight, and I dobut they would attack again. They didn't attack a civilian area, and attempt to avoid them.

Majorca is fine now. I dont think there will be much more trouble as security has tightened and the authorities are keen to restore Majorca to its former glory.

Alcudia seems to be fine and is out of the way of the heavily populated tourist areas. see: http://24hrhotels.blogspot.com/2009/06/alcudia-majorca-family-resort-in.html
