How many people have a collection of firearms

    Hi Folks,

    Trying to ascertain how many people in Ireland will now have to install remote alarm monitoring solutions. This will only apply to people who either have 3 or more restricted firearms or 6 or more non restricted firearms.

    I know that there are 235,000 fire arms in Ireland and that 80,000 farmers would have a single shotgun for rodents. There are 190,000 gun owners, but how many people would now be effected to having to install an alarm?

    More than those who have three restricted/six unrestricted firearms. Alarms come into things before that point.
    Maybe a better poll would be to post the categories of storage needed and have folks vote on which category they fall into?
