Thailand in Just over 2 weeks! suggestions?

    HI All.

    Myself and my misses are hitting Thailand in September, (she has never been). I'll be on the ground for 16 day and we have decided we are going to spend most of our time in Koh Samui and complete a PADI course Koh Tao.

    We will spend a total of 4.5 days in Bangkok (2 at the start and 2 at the end), I stayed in the the Baiyoke Sky Hotel last time which was nice but I hear there is better and at good prices any suggestions?

    Also we were thinking of just booking 3 nights in Koh Samui online and just see what we can get when we are there as it’s off season, would anyone recommend this?

    Finally if anyone has some good tips or sights I should see or avoid in Koh Samui or surrounding islands that would be appreciated.

    If were me, I'd skip Koh Samui and go to Koh Phi Phi instead.

    It will cost slightly more because you'll need a flight but definitely worth it in my opinion.
