I don't know, maybe you ask in the biology and medicine forum. They might know something about the college. ;)

As for the flying, well a Twin Otter could land in your back garden, so there's no need to worry about landing at that airport. Judging from the video, he had acres of space to land.:p

I dont think it is the smallest/most dangerous at all. I reckon Galway would be shorter :D

If a plane can take off from a certain runway, it can land on it as well. As far as I know, there are no differences in altitudes or approach methods to this runway, just the fact theres a beach and road at the end of the runway with public access makes it seem different. If there was 3 miles of grass before the runway, the plane would take a similar approach.

Well for some tho, kickin back in the carribean, good luck with getting in

Similar to landing in Strandhill in Sligo (except for the cliffs!!)

yeah thats true whe winair ones take up about only half the runway as seen as some of the other videos, and with a small plane like that it really depends on the cargo inside and people inside it, the ones that only take up half the runway might only have just the pilot inside dilvering fresh milk to the students :P, studying medicine there is probably like taking a 4 year holiday, and no reply from them as of yet about me getting in, so i might just go the GAMSAT way in a few yrs time after graduation, and apply for RCSI/ucc

Wouldn't Lukla Airport count as a commercial landing strip, with it's flights for climbers going in and out.
It is much shorter and far more dangerous.

its alot longer and your FOV is bigger, the saba one is covered by hills on one side, and if you over shoot you fall off the cliff and into the sea :P
