I just went to my local petrol station to buy some coke. The 2L bottle is cheaper than the 1L bottle. Have I accidentally arrived in opposite land? Should I be worried?

*Wants name and address of place that sells coke*

Everyone knows that the smaller the container the tastier the coke. The most obvious case is when you compare a can to a small medium bottle size. I goes all the way up.

    No just be thankful.

I get through roughly 6 cans a day of diet coke, so if I see a special offer like you did I would just buy them up and be grateful for the chance.:pac:

Maybe the shop is built on bad foundations and is about to collapse and you're actually doing them a favour by removing 2kg (approx) of stock from their premises as opposed to just 1kg.

Were they selling elephants for 50c by any chance?

Kinda off topic but does anyone else find it ironic that people are always complaining about the price of diesel and petrol, yet per litre, coke and other soft drinks are usually more expensive!

Well the Price of Bull Seaman might be at an all time record high right now..

But that has about as much effect on the cost of me driving to work as the price of coke.

    Sooo eh no ted..

Ah, finally, the reason why Professor Huffnagle's soda pop engine never took off, and to think that lil old me thought those evil shell people had buried the patent.

In Tesco, a 2-pack of Pepsi costs more than two individual bottles.

Encountered the opposite (almost) in Superquinn in Limerick
    1 apple for 40c or 10 for €4!

Yes thanks for the maths lesson there, Mr. Super...
