Sunil Sharpe is one of Ireland’s most celebrated underground DJs. Having played at many of Europe’s most dedicated techno clubs like Tresor (Berlin), U-Club (Bratislava), Locked (Manchester) and others, as well as on every scale of the circuit in Ireland, Sunil has also recorded for Open Source, Tonewrecker, Bastardo Electrico and his own Mantrap stamp – a label that has gained quick popularity with many of electro and techno’s big hitters. New releases are on the way there from puresthatred, Magnetize,, Ed Devane, Kachanski, Uninerves and of course Sunil himself, who is also busy in the su-su-studio doing remixes for remixes for Psychonavigation, Static and Takeover. Sunil also resides on 2FM, teaches budding DJs at BIFE and continues his mission on the frontline at Spindizzy Records. Busy on the festival circuit over the summer, you may have got the chance to witness the super sharp showstealer at Sibin, Life, South West Music Festival. We're delighted that he is taking the time out to christen the basement of the TP in his own unique way (whiskeys and coke no doubt featuring prominently) and coming back to his roots to play an intimate venue once again. His last appearance at an EC event was rocking the mic upstairs in Wax but this time its the music that will be doing the talking.

We're also excited to welcome back the man like Educution, aka Booger, whose latest EP release on D1 is on the racks of top shops around the world right now - the wonderfully titled 'Make Up Tips For The Elephant Man Part 1' - the first part of a long awaited triple album, no less. A series of releases and remixes on labels such as Minimise, Front End Synthetics and D1 have kept Educution in the spotlight through the decade and this time we're hosting a DJ set to showcase many of the Chi-town influences that drive his Ting Chuggy sound.

Representing Electric Shock downstairs is 'Deep' Dan Power, one of Dublin's finest house and deep techno DJs who has played for us more times than we have probably ourselves - not to mention being a one-man driving machine without whom the club would have fallen apart many moons ago. While up high in the all new Mezzanine UK House legend Charles Webster will be sharing his love from San Francisco and beyond with support coming from the Stereotonic residents and just added to the stage is a full live show from Kormac and his band.
