William Hill and emails asking for personal data

I recently opened up a william hill account with a payment via paypal. Since opening this up ive been getting emails asking for copys of my passport, birth cert etc. When i reply the email comes back and the phone number theyve provided doesnt work? Surely a online company like this wouldnt be asking for such infomation in…

Stop replying to these emails. Go to their website and get a contact number from it. Call them.

* Ask what they want and where to send it.
* Verify if the other emails were legit, if not then cancel any credit cards that may have been on statements you emailed.

I used to be in the industry and It's only the norm if the emails don't bounce back and the telephone number works..! Randoms advice is the best, contact them via the site.
