I seem to be having a bit of bad luck when it comes to acc, every person I call wants a certain amount per year instead of giving it to me for the 9 months lol.
I'd like to find a place at 1200 a month for the 9 months, would just like someone to tell me that this is a reasonable amount to look to pay? Every place I call on daft so far wants more than they have advertised and it is quite annoying.

    That's a reasonable amount for a 4-person sharing house.

Our rent was 425 pp a month. Total rip off. Between 290-370 seems normal and reasonable for maynooth.

Negotiate - we got 100 knocked off our rent (just moved) without asking
