Ok ok....it might not be as bad at the title suggests, but I am begining to feel lke that.
Myself and my OH organised loads within a few weeks of the wedding...finding the hotel, booking the registrar, photographer, picking dress etc.
Now however its just over 12 weeks away and apparently I should have the foreign invitations sent out!!!!! I havent even picked my stationary yet!
I have a dress fitting tomorrow and was told to bring down my shoes/underwear and hair piece to try on as I am collecting the dress.....I dont have these either. Well ok I have shoes.......but i want to wear red shoes istead. But I dont even have a clue what style i want in my hair other than it being down!!!!
Did out a list last night of all week have yet to do and tbh I was scared...my OH thought it was ok.....then again his column had 1/3 of what i have. I have my menu tasting this weekend too!!!! OMG its all so real now......cue mini breakdown!

Has anyone else felt like they left everything to the last minute....or indeed like me is begining to panic about it all coming together on the day???

It will all come together on the day:).

The shoes, hair and underwear thing is up to yourself. They just want you to see how it'd all look together. Why not bring a pair of shoes that are the height you would like? If it's a department store, you should be able to borrow all these things.

As for the foreign invites, I'm sure lots of your friends and family know when it is and if they're invited. If not, send (or email or text) them a 'save the date' to let them know. It'll buy you some time.

Don't panic, one job at a time and most importantly, enlist help-my BM was a great help with printing/addressing invites, it would've taken a week without her.

Your wedding must be around the same time as mine as i am in the same boat as you, PANIC, i keep sitting down and thinking about what i have to do and don't know where to start!!

    OP here

Just collected my wedding dress....( gotta love my BM for taking me) first time i have seen it since i tried it on back in january!!!! And i LOVE it just as much as i did the day i saw it.
Bought a head piece in the same shop too.....much more than i intended to pay for something but without doubt the most perfect piece i had seen anywhere.
It denfintely pays to shop around for your dress...as I put in a post months ago, I tried on my dress in a shop in Kildare at €1500.....got the same one in the north for approx €800.
Picked out my stationary on Confetti.co.uk last night and just have to run it by my OH when he gets home from work so I can order it.
Oh...everyone who is coming to the day part already knows that they are invited so eventhough a few are coming from abroad the invites are formalities....I think since they have their flights booked that its definite they will be there.

If anyone knows where I can buy 'cheap' fish bowl type vases then that'd be another thing i can cross off my list :-)

Going down to mullingar this weekend so will try and suss out a few places to get my hair done. Printed off pictures from google image last night too so I can show my florist what i want.

So......4 things ticked off my list......only what seems like another 100 left to go!!!!!

Crohnie......I am finding that once I can cross one thing off with a red marker that the whole list didnt look as bad......so include the things you have already sorted in you to do list....and cross them off.....at least then you can look at it and say....yes.....i've started!
I'm getting married on 13th November....when is yours?
    ( I know its a friday......not superstitous and its been a talking point.....lol)

Oh and my cheif BM is pregnant....found out other day......thank heavens for dept store(debenhams) bought dresses.....easy to get bigger size if needed.

Well done on the dress, my dress will not be in til the 20th October, scary considering the wedding is the 6th November but they asured me it would be ready to bring with me the week before the wedding and i do trust them as my friends was the same and she had it home and all a week before, they do all day alternations where you go in and they do all the work in one day its brilliant!!

I can't wait for the big day, organising hen party at the moment, and suits for the lads, my mam is looking after flowers and OH is looking after the honeymoon, have you yours booked???
