Dress Maker?

    Hi

    I know this has prob come up a million times but does anyone know any good dress makers in the Dublin area? I saw an amazing dress in the loft market in powerscourt at the weekend but can't afford to buy it and want to see if i could get something like it made. It's for a wedding in September.

    Also, any ideas on how much it'd cost to get made? And does anyone know any shops that i'd be able to buy dress patterns?

    How much did the dress cost? By the time you pay for a dress maker, fabric and everything it may end up being cheaper to just by it from the loft. That is if you can find the right fabric.
    You can buy patterns in Hickeys on Henry st, the Woollen mills by the ha'penny bridge and fabric select on parnell st.

    Thanks - the dress costs €450 and i'm broke so thought this might be the cheaper option. Someone said I could ask students of fashion at NCAD... just something i've heard. Sure i'll look around anyway.

    Paula Cullen in Crumlin village is excellent. Be very specific though. She mostly does wedding dresses.
