    Hi all,

I had two Sky+ HD boxes installed over the weekend. As its multiroom both boxes have to be connected to a phone line. However when they are connected I have noticed that my broadband speed is greatly reduced. Has anybody else experienced this and any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Stick a DSL filter on each box connection.

If the engineer didnt leave any you need to get some microfilters. The box being connected to the line will reduce your speed but if you put a filter on each connection (box and phone cable go into the filter and then filter connects to the wall point) you will get your speed back :)

    Something like this

Thanks for your help. Already had a splitter where the braodband was connected. I put splitters on the phone lines for each Sky box and also replaced the broadband splitter and now my broadband is faster than ever! Thanks again!
