So I had the "unknown errors" (-69) and (-48) one day out of the blue (80GB ipod classic btw)
I googled em, followed the steps, fixed em, I even deleted all my music so there would be no "corrupted files"

Now all of a sudden out of the blue its starting this ****e again, ringing apple support is no help they can't even understnad what i'm saying.
I 'm tyring to fix the erorrs following the same steps and it wont let me.

now my iTunes wont work(iTunes is not responding). My OS is vista. It won't error check my iPod like I need it too. I don't understand what is goin on. Should I bring my iPod back i'm so fcuking sick of having problems with it over and over again. I don't know how files taken from a CD could become corrupted in the 1st place!Oh and when I click on My iPod in the Computer section so I can error check my whole feckin OS is down for ten minutes. WTF??

Please help as I need an Mp3 player for work, I'm screwed without one.

Have you tried to put it in to disk mode before connecting it to itunes?
Press and hold menu and select until apple logo appears then let go and press and hold play and select buttons until a ok to disconnect message comes up.
then connect to itunes and do a restore.

I think people will help you if they can help you or have an interest in helping you.

No amount of pleading is going to change that.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise everybody here owes you assistance with your problem.

Newsflash - this isn't your own personal support forum.

exactly, I have had an IPOD classic 160gb for last 3 years, never had 1 single issue. Apple are the best.

I doubt your job will fire you over your ipod not working.

Thats unusual, normally removing iTunes and reinstalling the latest version will fix those errors afaik.

    +1.

Or bring the computer with you and plug that into the sound system? (A bit bulky but you said CDs were out of the question in the other thread).

Where did you get them from in the first place. They can't only be on your iPod. They must be on the computer you copied them from?
