Just a heads up for those who haven't seen or want to re-watch this absolutely superb biopic of Robert McNamara' political career. Unfortunately it on at 1.55am, Wednesday night on RTE1. Yet another brilliant film on at a ridiculous time, so set the VCR or Sky+ if you're not staying up.

I'd definitely recommend this as well. Fantastic documentary. As I recall it won best doc in the 2004 Oscars. Great score by Philip Glass as well.

Most people justifiably shed no tears over his death last month, but nevertheless McNamara was a fascinating man. And he showed remarkable honesty in the film.
