The accommodation in Dunaras is nice but it's a very long walk. You might be enthusiastic now but wait until you meet the Galway rain

That's the complaint that you'd hear most often.

It'll be grand when you first get there but when winter hits you'll feel less and less like going to lectures.

But if you still go there, just pick some good quality raingear up for yourself and you'll be fine.

Dunaras is definitely better than Lisdonough. That said its a seroius trek from college, especially if you're based in Kearns or Aras Moyola. But the apartments are well maintained and the staff are all pretty sound once the apartments are kept relatively clean.

Save money on raincoats by not going to college when it rains.
