Bluetooth on iPhone 3G 8GB??

    Hi all,

    Just bought the above the other day.
    However,just noticed today that the Bluetooth is acting up a bit.
    Tried to transfer some files from my Nokia 6300 to it but it didn't even see it(or any other device).
    Seem to remember reading something regarding Bluetooth on the iPhone being fairly pickey about what devices it can pair with?

    You cant transfer files between any phone and the iphone.

    The only thing the Bluetooth works for on iphone is for pairing with either bluetooth headphones or a handsfree kit.

    Or a stereo/headunit that supports bluetooth. Bluetooth music streaming is the business.

    jailbreak and you can get apps to transfer files over bluetooth

    I don't think I'd be that bothered really.
    I wouldn't use Bluetooth in a month of Sundays.
    Its just that the alarm bells started ringing when I couldn't pair it with my old phone,wasn't sure if it was a fault or not.

    Anyway,thanks all for the replies...IM
