    Hi everyone,
    I'm based in Douglas and am looking to set up a three piece blues/rock band to play covers and some originals. Main influences are: Rory Gallagher, John Mayer trio, Hendrix, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Clapton and many more.
    I'm not too fussed about age (I'm 20) but more about the quality of musicians who would ideally be talented, commited and ambitious. Also it would be helpful but not essential to have a prior knowledge of some songs by the musicians I mentioned
    So are there any drummers or bassists interested?

    Hey,
    I'm based in bishopstown and i have been looking for a blues band to join.....if you could find a bassist i would be interested. I'm 17, but i have been playing for 10 years, jazz, blues, rock, pop, latin, funk, fusion, d 'n' b you name it. http://www.youtube.com/user/Bosphorus92 I have played with the glanmire ochestra and completed grade 8, so experience should'nt be a problem.

    I'm not really happy with the videos, but just have a look if your interested, i have come a long way since recording them. A good site to look on for a bassist is musicians-in-your-city.ie
