    Hi folks,

Myself and the other half have been talking about extending the living room into the hall.

    - Knock down partition wall with two rads and one light switch.
    - New partition erected further back with rad and switch.
    - New door entry arch.

I have no idea what something like this would cost - anyone any idea of what a tradesman would charge?

thanks in advance - just a rough estimate will do so i can get saving!!

I would think about a Grand for labour. You need to be sure that it is not a supporting wall.

HI IF THIS WALL IS MADE OF 4" SOLIDS ON EDGE , THEN IT IS HOLDING UP THE FLOORS IN THE LANDING AND MAIN BEDROOM ABOVE WHICH WOULD MEAN RSJ TO BE INSTALLED AND NOT ALL THE WALL REMOVED
WHERE ARE YOU BASED IF YOU ARE IN DUBLIN I COULD HELP YOU WITH THIS;)
