    Hi,

I'm just filling out a local needs form for Meath County Council and I was wondering who falls under immediate family...siblings, parents, grandparents...aunts, uncles??

    Thanks in advance for replies.

Its most likely in their County Development plan which should be available online.

If it is to do with establishing your roots/contacts with the area, throw them all in......I too applied in Meath and submitted an OS map with all relative's current/former houses marked and keyed on side of map.....the more info the better....

immediate family is straight up and down the family tree...

ie grandparents, parents, siblings, sons and daughters

not: aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.... etc..

When I applied for PP in Meath, I put in every last aunt and cousin within a five mile radius- we had a v good architect, and the more info the better. For example, you might only have your parents living nearby and have no siblings, but you could have five uncles and twenty cousins nearby so put it all into application. Mark a map and put them all on it. That is what I did and got pp first time round.
Also, make sure that you have plenty of evidence of post going to you at the address. Obviously I don't know your own circumstances, but I was applying beside my home place, and put in copies of letters addressed to me going back from the present date to fifteen years previously. Again, as much info as possible. You can always black out any confidential info on any of the letters being used by you.
    Best of luck.
