Hey folks, I'm going to be in Ballinamore this week with the OH for her 20yr reunion. As Dromahair is not too far away, I was thinking of taking this in on the way home, plus not too many 4 Mile races around.
Anyone done it, doing it, know anything about it?

    Regards

    Dom

Was looking at this last weekend. Was in the village
Its a fundraiser for a suicide support group-
I had a nice 5km run there on Monday morning but don't know what the route is.
If I was down next weekend, I'd deffo do it

BTW- Dromahair is a decent trek from Ballinamore

Did it last year, good local event, organised by North Leitrim AC - about 70 runners and 60 walkers finished, with the winner in 21:31, M40 in 22:18 and 45 runners under 32 mins.
But be warned its a hilly course. Starts in the village and after 1st mile its a steady uphill for next ~1.5 miles (water station near the half way point), then a good downhill followed by a lap of the village to finish.
Enjoyed it last year but can't make it this year. There is also a good series of childrens races before main event.
