Hi i recently went on the dole and just started receiving emergency payments ,the problem is I got an offer for a weeks work experience,which could potentially lead to a job, next week up the country and away from my post office.and while i could just about survive not picking up that weeks payment I dont want to get in…

Tell the social about it.

They WANT you to get work. They might even let you keep the payment for the week by letting you take it as a holiday
