Favourite JW character

There are some great ones, Andrew the uber-nerd, the early Cordy when she would say exactly what she was thinking, and Lorne, who has all the best lines. but my favourite has to be Anya, so cute, so utterly unsuited to the late twentieth century, so utterly incapable of politeness or tact. So many great characters it's tough to make a choice. I think Xander, pre-vision Cordy, Oz, Andrew, Lorne, Harmony, November, and Whiskey all deserve mentions, but easily my favourite character of Joss' has to be Doyle - I'm brought to tears every single time I watch "Hero"!

i have to agree that mal will take some beating. I also always liked angel basically because buffy was always so black and white but angel lived in a kind of grey area.

But even having said that, def Mal.

Did you even watch this show? Doesnt sound like you have... Whiney? I'm sorry but no and get out! :P

Weedy at start yes, at the end. No.. Just no. Thats what i love about his character, he went through the most change out of all the characters. From bumbling clumsy book worm to gun totting badass. And for the latter part of season 5 he was full of hate and living on the death drive.

Lets not leave out the fact he was also only Human

Spike and Mal are my favourite characters, but I always had a soft spot for Lindsay in Angel - his ending was a bit of a let-down though!

The transition took much longer than a few episodes. And there was no rebirth involved at all - the changes to Wesley were all because of circumstancial life developments. I don't personally believe he is the greatest character, but he is bloody brilliant.
