Tree shedding leaves

    Hi
    We have tree in back garden that is shedding leaves all summer long. We only moved to this house earlier in the year

    I dont know what type of tree it is or if this is normal for it to be losing its leaves at this time of year or if something is wrong in terms of if the tree is dying or is deficient in some nutrient

    Can anyone offer any advise in terms of what type of tree this is and if it is normal for it to be shedding leaves at this time of year or if something is wrong with it and what i can do to fix this?

    We have one the same and it often seems to shed before the season for shedding.
