My hair is heavily highlighted and the brighter I got the more dry and frizzy it is! Ive invested a lot of money in shampoos/conditioners/treatments which I think have helped but it seems to need something extra. Im scared of serums as my hair can get greasy easily. Anyone have a good recommendation for something to make my hair glossy! Was admiring Louise Rednapps hair on Something for the Weekend this morning, its so shiny and smooth looking :(

I have curly hair, my boyfriend has long frizzy hair. We use Herbal essences Frizz Fighter conditioner in the orange bottle. 533564_l.jpg

Works beautifully on my curls and his hair has gotten thick, soft and shiny.

As well as that, there is a Revlon 2 phase spray conditioner that my hairdressers use as a treatment. I get it in Terrisales Wholesalers on Abbey St. in Dublin.

I use the greeny/blue one but this purple one is for blondes. Try it out. Just shake it and spray into hair after you towel dry. You can buy online if you can't find in a wholesaler or hair salon.

I also have highlighted blonde curly hair. Try the 2phase from revlon it seems to be the best but I'd stick with the blue/green one. It seems to put the shine back.

Have the same problem myself although my hair is straight, what I noticed though is that the products always work the first couple of times, but after a week the frizz-monster is back.
Am currently using Elvive for highlighted hair but for how long/my heart weeps.

I swear by both of those products 2 phase and alfa parf (however its spelt!) the serum has a fab smell as well.

    2 phase small bottle €10
large €20 this is in salon shop in castlebar. from hairdressers its about €13 for small they dont usually have the big ones.

serum is €13 from hairdressers, can this be bought online??

Just a little trick I learnt to help control the frizz - when blowdrying your hair hold the dryer up over your head so its blowing down the hair shaft .Do this the whole way round your head ,run the brush through it and then put a little serum or baby oil on your hands (a tiny bit now) ,rub them together well and smooth the ends of your hair with it. Its a killer on the arms but it works:)

Does this increase the greasiness of hair on day 2 or leave it very flat on day 1?
