Has anyone used the IrishJobs/MyHorizon CV Service?

Has anyone used the new service from IrishJobs.ie/MyHorizon.ie, where you send them your CV and they review it and send it back? 55 Euro sounds reasonable, but is it a case of "you get what you pay for"?
I'm happy enough with my CV in terms of structure/content etc. and won't go to a professional CV service for a consultation, but I'd be prepared to hand over 55 quid to get my CV touched up and tidied a bit.

    Thanks in advance!

Here's a quite recent thread about it.

In principle, I would pay someone to review or re-write my CV, but that person would need to have a lot of experience in vetting and reviewing CVs in the real world. I'm not sure what expertise the monster people have - for all I know, I have reviewed more CV's then them!

If you have any doubts about your CV and interview skills, I think it's worth paying for a CV and interview service.

Having a well made CV, and knowing how to conduct yourself in an interview (which is a skill that can be taught) are half the battle to getting a job. So if in doubt, make the investment in yourself.

Haven't used the Irishjobs one but did use a third party CV writer.

A lot of the job boards offer some sort of CV rewriting ability or better still links to professional third parties.

Came across a few on http://www.jobs2ireland.ie/links.php for Recruit Ireland have some information about CVs on their website.

Jobs.ie also have some sort of CV Advice but I think that third parties are better informed rather than just a job board.

Also, found this very useful website for answering those Killer Interview Questions, found it useful myself - http://www.interviewdestroyer.com

    Hope this helps.
